By the end of this module, you will be able to: 1) Understand the philosophy of safety planning and help survivors create safety plans based on their specific needs. 2) Utilize survivor-centered advocacy techniques that focus on the survivors' autonomy and unique strengths. 3) Encourage survivors to identify concerns and make their own decisions to increase their own safety in their relationship. 4) Assess for lethality and help survivors explore possible risks and options in a variety of areas of their life. 5) Identify the varying types of Protective Orders and integrate Protective Orders into survivor safety plans.
